The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually happening.
